Jim brings over 25 years of business experience in lean operations, management and consulting. He is the founder and leader of Enterprise Excellence Associates, an organizational improvement consulting firm that helps companies operate more efficiently and with higher quality. He has held a number of senior leadership positions in medium and large companies including Chief Operating Officer of IQ International, CEO of N4Power, Chairman/President and CEO of Auto Safety House, Vice President of Terex Business Systems, Senior Vice President of Terex Utilities, General Manager of Terex Concrete Group, Vice President and General Manager of Folio, and Vice President of Operational Excellence at RSC Equipment Rental. In all of these positions, Jim championed the conversion to a lean operating model. His areas of expertise include lean implementation and operations, large system change, exceptional team development, strategic planning and implementation, value stream mapping and improvement, executive council and development, Integrated Facility Design, and sales and marketing improvement. In addition to his management experience, Jim has provided lean consultation to a wide variety of service and manufacturing companies including Stanford Medical Center Adult Hospital, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Stanford Medical Center Children’s Hospital, Molina Healthcare, Kadlec Healthcare, The Everett Clinic, John C. Lincoln Health Network, Terumo Medical Corp., Boeing, Terex, PageNet, Genie Industries, United Airlines, Northrop Grumman, and Hexcel. Jim has founded or co-founded four companies and has served on numerous business, community, industry, and education boards. He has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
