Aaron Kim
Aaron Kim is the founder and president of Simplex Improvement Consulting Group.  He brings over 20 years of Lean and Operations Management experience.  He began his Lean career while participating in the National Shipbuilding Research Program’s Lean implementation.  He led Kaizen events, Model Line deployment and learned Lean shipbuilding best practices from Korea and Japan. Later, Aaron led several high-volume manufacturing organizations through large-scale system improvements based on Lean. His healthcare clients include Kadlec Health System and Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, Northeast Georgia Healthcare System, Emory University Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the HIV Vaccine Trials Network. His industrial clients include Cambridge International, Maryland Wire Belts, Gefco, Royal Power Solutions, Kubota Manufacturing of America and Kubota Industrial Equipment.  Aaron’s experience with these clients includes Strategy Deployment, Model Line implementation, Rapid Process Improvement Workshops, 5S Workshops, Integrated Facility Design and Discrete Event Simulations. Aaron is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has released over 30 popular educational Lean videos on the internet. He holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida.
