Larry Godt
Larry has over 38 years of business experience, with the last twenty years devoted to helping companies achieve improved performance as a consultant. His clients range from small family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, across various industries from software to shipbuilding. Larry has provided many services with these clients including executive coaching, strategy development and deployment, business assessment, study missions, operations excellence transformation, new product development, integrated facility design and management system implementation. Larry has had the pleasure to work with leading companies in their industries such as Boeing, BP Chemicals, Hexcel, Alabama Shipyards, Leupold and Stevens, Sage Software, Fairchild, Triumph Aerospace, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Stanford Health, and many others. Larry has also leveraged his learning in the for-profit world to provide support and serve on boards of several non-profit charitable organizations.
In addition to client work, Larry has conducted seminars with Industry Week, AME, International Institute of Research, Lean Shipbuilding Institute, and the Strategic Alliance for Higher Education. Larry has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Washington.
Prior to consulting, Larry held leadership positions in Engineering, Quality and Operations with both start-up and multi-national manufacturing organizations. While at these organizations, Larry was instrumental in strategic planning, new product development, ERP implementations, facility designs, lean transformations, and quality system certifications. Larry has a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington.
